Co-Chaired by Prof. Jonathan Hourihane and Dr. Adam Fox, this practical study day is aimed at the many doctors who see children with asthma, eczema, rhinitis or food allergy in their daily practice. It will provide an update of best practise in the management of allergic disease. There is a particular focus on the recognition of the role of allergy in common presentations of childhood disease as well as how to effectively diagnose and treat it. The day is practically focused and the faculty consists entirely of leading paediatric specialists who will also introduce delegates to the emerging diagnostic tools and treatment modalities now becoming available.
